Libraries in the West Midlands of England celebrated the United Kingdom's Black History Month with presentations about American cyclist Major Taylor, at 6:45 p.m. Oct. 28 in Stourbridge and at 2 p.m. Oct. 31 in Halesowen. Sam Henry, David Viner, and Junior Douglas from the Major Taylor Initiative of No Limits to Health, our affiliate in the UK, explored the life and times of Major Taylor, "The Fastest Bicycle Rider in the World." Dan Whitehouse performed "Black Cyclone," a song he wrote with Jason Tarver.
